Museums in the Tumut Region
Tumut, Adelong and Batlow have their own Historical Museums each with its own distinctive collection.
All three museums are manned by volunteers and opening hours vary so always confirm before visiting. The museums welcome indivduals and groups by appointment so a phone call is always worthwhile if visiting outside of normal opening hours. A booklet outlining a heritage walk around Tumut is available from the Tumut Region Visitor Centre, while Adelong has a cultural walk along the creek and connecting to Adelong Falls.
