Visit Adelong Alive ...
A volunteer initiated museum located at 86 Tumut St, Adelong, adjacent to the Apex Park.
Adelong Alive tells the story of the people of Adelong starting in 1851 and projecting the future to 2051.
Adelong Alive has a variety of exhibitions that are changed on a regular basis. The museum encourages and welcomes travelling exhibitions as well as local displays.
Information pertaining to the Gold Mining Era, the development of the commercial area and stories about the struggles and achievements of the people of the district, are just a few examples of the fine exhibits display.

A feature of Adelong Alive is its ornate security screens. Two spectacular metal panels depict life in Adelong in the past and present. The screens were created by Zane Separovich in conjunction with Friends of the Museum, Adelong Progress Association and local students, and with funds from the NSW Ministry of Arts.
